Mum Life Journal
Mum Life Journal
This minimalistic planner has been created by a home educating mum who felt the lack of journals/diaries available that included personal and home ed. planning in one place!
The mum life planner - week by week is designed to simplity and streamline weekly tasks, responsibilities, and schedules. It provides a clean and uncluttered layout, focusing on the essential elements needed for efficient planning and organization.
This planner includes sections for weekly personal planning, personal study planning and home education planning.
Some extra pages have been included with spaces for other entries such as meal planning, notes and whatever a mum may need to write down and keep in one place!
What’a included?
Mind to paper -
This is where you brain dump, most likely on the evenings to clear your head. Write down the to dos, the projects, appointments, ideas, things to remember, shopping, jobs and more. You can organise it later, using appropriate pages.
Personal planner weekly overview -
This is your weekly overview so you have the full week in one place. You will navigate back to it at the end of each day to track your progress, and review what's coming up. The empty space is for whatever else you may need to report for that week. Or simply use to write your favourite hadith or quote.
The "my lists" section allows mums to jot down a to-do list and track important tasks or any other necessity list that week. I love a list for everything, be it a packing list for a trip, cleaning list, shopping list... This is the space for it all so it can be a week long working list rather than busing up your full day and never getting complete because let's be honest - the days being a mum are just not long enough.
Personal study weekly plan -
Plan your studies here - this can be the space to plan your Quran study, to read a book, learn a new language, a new skill or listen to a podcast. It's important we strive to study and gain knowledge.
Home Ed. Weekly plan -
This section provides an overview of the entire study week, allowing mums to plan out their lessons, extracurricular activities, family events and trips. The following page is great for outlining goals to be achieved this week. The small area for supplies helps to plan ahead what supplies you might need this week too.
The sources page is to keep track of any books, websites and other sources you used this week. The Review page allows you to reflect on this week and what went well, what needs more time and perhaps some ideas for next week to continue any unfinished work.
